21 Learning and Ideas for Tibet

There are just two students of German language, but I try my best.
To be German teacher is not that funny, I hope at least some of you find it funny.

20 Free Tibet

Deepest respect!!!

This man, took over a responsibility, to fight for the right of the Tibetan people in awareness, that the Chinese government will catch him.
They imprisoned him for 13 years.
Torture him. He stayed calm, he almost lost his life. They let him walk without shoes in winter. They let him carry weights for days. They gave him medicine which came out to be poisonous. They stroked him countless times. He remembered, that he was saying and thinking the TRUTH and that he will not lie the lie of a society.

HE CARRIED A TIBETAN FLAG IN HIS HOME VILLAGE IN TIBET (NOW CHINA) AND LEAD A PEACEFUL PROTEST, HE EXPRESSED HIS FREE OPINION.
A right as normal in my country, that I even forgot how normal it is.

My thinkings are in this moment with the countless persons tortured in this moment on this planet world in this sick circumstances.
May find the soon release from their pain and may find the torturers the wisdom of non-violence.

On other occasions, I see monks with big areas where there is no hair on their skull, others are full of scars. Nuns which where raped and abused in a very sick way, still have not lost their smile.
The "truth", which shines within this people, has my deepest respect.
My deepest respect to this people, I hope one time more people will be like they.

19 Karmapa

His Holiness Karmapa is very busy, we have to show our passport and my friend form Israel is noted on a list.
We wait and everything goes very fast, we go in, a monk puts the satin scarf around our neck and there is Karmapa, he is busy with the blessed red strings. I got one, we did not meet in the eyes, what a pity, but life goes on.

18 Tushita

Tushita, as far as I remember means heaven!
I go there for a 10 day retreat, no communication with the outer world.
Some friends from Rishikesh are also there.
I feel very respectful about this place, because it is directly connected to Ganden, one of the biggest and most famous former Monasteries in Tibet.

A big statue of Tsongkapa, the "founder" of the Gelugpa tradition is in the Gompa, the meditation hall. I think, Tsongkapa is not happy with the word "founder", because I read, that he was always discussing with his fellow students about mind and life and that he unified a lot of things. For that reason, it suits him more the title "unificator".
With that word, I´m at a big point of Buddhism, as far as I understood, the Buddhist point of view, everything is supposed to be one truth or has to come back to one truth, so everything has to be united.

17 Dharamsala and his Holiness the Dalai Lama

A friend from my social service time welcomes me in his home, it is very nice to see somebody from the past. The food in his house is astonishing good. We do a yoga course together and my pain in the knee vanishes. So it was very fine.

I visit the temple of the Dalai Lama and the monk in charge of the water bowl offering tells me, that the Dalai Lama has an audience the next day.

I go there, have to sit and to wait. There are also friends from the yoga class and from Prem Baba ashram.
The sun gets hotter, the stone becomes warm.

Once, after a long time, there are trumpets sounding, the Dalai Lama is coming. In the front a man with a riffle ready to use. His Holiness the Dalai Lama reminds me somehow to a Rock star, the people stand up and a slight groaning is going trough the masses.
He walks up to the temple and the prayer begins.
I can not understand anything, but I have luck, a Tibetan man tries to translate the things to me. "This prayer is for the long life of his Holiness the Dalai Lama and the well being of all beings on earth."
The time passes by and everything goes on, the prayer is power full.
The Aura of his Holiness is really holy, I never experienced something like this. Full of compassion and love I feel, that he wants to care for every living beeing on the earth.
Most impressive was an statement about Mao Tse Tung, which his Holiness made some time ago, "..., this man was my greatest teacher of compassion!". So he can transform everything into pure light and bliss. This is an ability which I think is extraordinary, to transform everything into light.

16 Prem Baba

What an atmosphere!
Love is dropping down from the Astral. The people sing in extasy and the music is everywhere.

"We are all good and nice persons, as long as we are not get involved to much with each other....., we do not know, how to treat each other in this world...., we do not know how to love. So go back to your source, to your beginning and start over from a new. We have to start over, to get rid of our ego and begin a new life. The long carried wound can be healed."
